Sellout is a groundbreaking startup that’s revolutionising the ticket sales automation industry, building the next generation of ticket buying and selling.
Sellout was founded by a couple of guys who loved music, with a passion to eradicate ticket scalpers, and make a change in the industry of automated ticket sales. I was approached by Triple Tree to help it reach new heights. We were tasked with creating fresh visual standards, as well as designing and developing game-changing UI, all while targeting a millennial audience.
We researched its current market, developed its future ambition, and created a strategy to attract an audience. My challenge was to make something that not only stands apart from other ticketing sites, but functions in a whole new way. The final challenge was to take these new concepts and create something that had never been done before, all while keeping the design intuitive and easily navigable.
With Sellout we led the brand strategy, design direction, front and back-end development of the online experience. We designed the Sellout interface by putting the most important information at the forefront of the user’s screen and hiding the lesser-used features behind intelligent panels and featured interactions
The Sellout sidebar is a pivotal asset that allows the user to see exactly where they are and jump in and out of multiple aspects of the app quickly and intuitively.
